Porter on Feely: That’s Just the Business
Linebacker Joey Porter is never afraid to share his thoughts on anything football-related, and that certainly was the case when he was asked for his reaction on the release of veteran kicker Jay Feely.

Dolphins‘ Crowder trying to replace Thomas (AP)

Miami Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder catches a pass during practice at the NFL camp in Davie, Fla. in this Sunday, June 8, 2008 file photo. With Zach Thomas traded to the Dallas Cowboys in the offseason, Crowder realizes it's time he plays up to his potential.

Channing Crowder has never been shy in the spotlight. Take for instance, Crowder saying his Miami Dolphins “must not have a lot of talent” if they can’t put a player’s picture on their billboards. Miami doesn’t get many chances to cheer.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Greg Camarillo, left, makes a third-quarter catch over the defense of Jacksonville Jaguars' Pierson Prioleau during a National Football League preseason game, Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, in Jacksonville, Fla.

Chad Pennington is already giving the Miami Dolphins something they’re not used to. A win. A week after signing with the team, Pennington led two scoring drives in his Dolphins debut to lift Miami to a 19-14 preseason victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday night. Pennington, cut by the New York Jets to make room for Brett Favre, was 5-for-6 passing for 55 yards.
